Gerrard has brought 10 new players to Ibrox this summer.

Former Rangers manager Mark Warburton has applauded the signings of Nikola Katic and Connor Goldson in an interview with Sky Sports, and expects new manager Steven Gerrard to relish the challenge of Gers boss.
Warburton, 55, spent almost two years in charge of the Gers, taking them from the Scottish Championship back to the top tier of Scottish football – before his spell as manager ended in disarray.
Since his departure, Warburton has taken over Nottingham Forest and since been sacked, while Rangers have hired and fired Pedro Caixinha and Graeme Murty. Now, Gerrard has taken over the mantle.
Warburton stated that he is a big fan of Rangers’ new centre-back partnership, and also claimed that Gerrard’s experience of playing in front of big crowds will help him deal with 50,000 fans at Ibrox.
“He [Gerrard] has bought some very good players, the likes of Connor Goldson and Nikola Katic,” Warburton said.
“I think he’ll relish it, he’ll relish the excitement that comes in games, he’ll relish the demands of the crowd and he’ll relish playing at Ibrox as well. 50,000 fantastic supporters and I’m sure Steven will be used to that and enjoy every minute of it”.

Rangers have completed deals for 10 players this summer, in the form of Allan McGregor, Goldson, Katic, Jon Flanagan, Scott Arfield, Lassana Coulibaly, Ryan Kent, Jamie Murphy, Umar Sadiq and Ovie Ejaria.
The Gers will be looking to book their place in the third round of Europa league qualifying on Thursday night at Ibrox, as they take their 1-0 first-leg advantage into the second leg against Croatian side NK Osijek.
