Former Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers manager Mark Warburton comments on ex-Celtic boss Ronny Deila.

Warburton was the manager of Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers from the summer of 2015 until February 2017, while Deila was in charge of Celtic from the summer of 2014 until the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
During his time at Celtic, Deila on the Scottish Premiership title twice and the Scottish League Cup once.
Deila was often criticised by the media in Scotland, and many Celtic fans were not happy with lack of progress and impact the Hoops made in Europe.
Former Rangers manager Warburton has criticised the treatment Deila got when he was at Celtic.
Warburton said on Open Goal: “I was so dismayed at the way Ronny Deila was treated.
“That was new to me, and he was getting dog’s abuse from the papers. I thought he was almost bordering on illegal, that’s how I saw it.”
Different managers
Both Celtic and Rangers have different managers now, and one could say that the Hoops and the Gers are doing much better now.
Brendan Rodgers is in charge of Celtic now, while Rangers have Steven Gerrard as their manager.
The Hoops and the Gers are fighting for the Scottish Premiership title, while the Bhoys are also in the Europa League knockout stage.
