Ex-Rangers boss Mark Warburton admits he would walk back to Ibrox.

Ex-Rangers boss Mark Warburton has told Open Goal that he would walk back to the club if offered the opportunity to return.
Warburton was appointed as Rangers boss back in the summer of 2015 having worked wonders with Brentford; his first ever managerial job.
A former city trader, Warburton enjoyed a meteoric rise in coaching, and helped Rangers win promotion from the Scottish Championship back up to the top flight.
With a win over Celtic and a Scottish Cup final place in the first season, Warburton was a hero at Ibrox – but that all changed in the second season.
Warburton couldn’t quite match fan ambitions, suffering a heavy defeat to Celtic in September whilst veteran signings such as Joey Barton and Philippe Senderos didn’t pay off.
Warburton left the club in controversial circumstances in February 2017 before heading on to Nottingham Forest, where he struggled to impress before leaving in December 2017.

Now out of the game, Warburton has spoken about Rangers, admitting that there is ‘nothing like’ Glasgow and believes both Rangers and Celtic are institutions of the game.
As unlikely as it may be, Warburton added that he would walk back to Rangers if he could, having loved every minute of his time at Ibrox.
“There is nothing like it. I loved it,” said Warburton about Glasgow. “I would walk back to Glasgow and any manager who says differently is talking out the back of his…wherever. The fact of the matter is, both clubs are institutions and global brands, so who would not walk back to Rangers. I loved It, loved every minute of it. To manage a club like Rangers, I’d walk back to Glasgow,” he added.
