Rangers take on Peterhead at Ibrox on Tuesday night.

Rangers manager Mark Warburton has admitted to the club’s official YouTube channel that four of his summer signings will start the game against Peterhead on Tuesday night.
After drawing 1-1 with Hamilton Academical on the opening day of the Scottish Premiership season on Saturday afternoon, it’s back to Scottish League Cup action on Tuesday night as they take on third tier side Peterhead at Ibrox.

The game sees Peterhead attempt to beat Rangers again having lost 4-0 to Warburton’s men in the Petrofac Training Cup at Hampden Park last season, whilst Rangers will be looking to continue their fine record in the League Cup this season.
In four League Cup games this term, Rangers have a 100% win record, scoring ten goals and keeping four clean sheets in a superb start to the competition.

Warburton will be hoping for the same again on Tuesday, and after Saturday’s game against Hamilton, the Gers boss appears to be making a number of changes to his side.
Speaking to the club’s official YouTube channel earlier today, Warburton admitted that four of his summer signings are in line to start as he looks to rotate his squad.
Goalkeeper Matt Gilks, full back Lee Hodson, midfielder Jordan Rossiter and forward Joe Dodoo arrived from Burnley, MK Dons, Liverpool and Leicester City respectively, and were all on the bench as Rangers drew with Hamilton on Saturday.

On Tuesday though, all four are set to start, with Warburton admitting that he wants to do what he couldn’t last season and mix up his starting line-up, whilst stating that his rotated side will be no disrespect to Peterhead.
“We’re mixing it up for the point of using the squad,” said Warburton. “It’s full respect to Peterhead, they have put a Premier League team out already, we’re well aware of their cup tradition, so there’s no lack of respect on our part, we’re using the squad.”
“Matt Gilks will come in, Lee Hodson will come in, Jordan Rossiter will come in, Joe Dodoo will come in, and we’ll give pitch time accordingly to the squad – we couldn’t do that last season,” he added.
