The Hoffenheim hitman would be a useful addition to the Everton squad this winter.

Toffees boss Ronald Koeman already finds himself under intense pressure from the Goodison Park faithful, after having spent around £140 million during the summer transfer window, and guiding his side to just seven points from their opening six Premier League games.
One area in particular where Everton have flattered to deceive is the forward department, with their meagre total of just four goals in the league thus far currently the third lowest tally in the top flight.
According to the Mirror, Koeman is looking to rectify that problem by bringing Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro to Merseyside in January, with the Dutchman thought to be lining up a £20 million bid for the France international.

It could be argued, however, that Gameiro would be another panic buy, and with the Atleti man already on the wrong side of 30, would Koeman not be better served in moving for a younger model?
And a useful option for Everton to consider could be Hoffenheim striker Mark Uth, who has started this season in fine fettle, bagging six goals in nine outings thus far for the German outfit.
The 6ft 1in hitman has all of the attributes required to be a success in the Premier League – he is strong in the air, competent when playing with his back to goal and is an accomplished finisher.

At the age of just 26, Uth would be a far better option than Gameiro for the Toffees in the long-term, and by signing him, Koeman would at least be showcasing some kind of vision for the future, rather than reverting back to the worrying trend of signing players based purely on reputation alone.
And with January fast approaching, Everton should at least enquire about the possibility of bringing the German to Goodison Park this summer.
