Hammers skipper Mark Noble sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, following the squad’s return from their mid-season training camp in the Middle East, and shared his surprise at how big West Ham were in Dubai, highlighting how well received an open training session held by the club was.

Slaven Bilic will be hoping that his decision to take his squad of players out to Dubai for a short training camp will pay dividends, as his side enter the final third of their Premier League campaign, and look to make a late push for the Europa League spots.

And Noble spoke to WHUFC.com about the trip to the Middle East, sharing his surprise at the following West Ham have in that corner of the world, after the club held an open training session:

“I couldn’t believe how many fans there were! About 300 people came and to be fair that was during the best couple of hours sun we had! They got to see a really good training session and enjoyed meeting the boys after. It was just a really good four or five days in all, but obviously we now have a really big game on Saturday to think about.”

The East London outfit’s brand is expected to continue to grow over the next few years, what with the club’s recent move to the London Stadium, but one thing that will be paramount to them reaching their potential will be success on the pitch.

And they seem to now be heading on the right track at least, with their vast improvements over the past couple of months.

Bilic’s men return to Premier League action tomorrow with a trip to Vicarage Road to take on Watford, and three points could see them jump up to ninth in the table.
