West Ham United were far too good for Newcastle United on Saturday.

West Ham skipper Mark Noble spoke to reporters after his side’s win over Newcastle on Saturday, and shared one thing that disappointed him about their performance, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Hammers made a really poor start to their Premier League season, but Saturday’s win over Newcastle will have given Pellegrini’s men so much belief as they head into the hectic festive period.

Much was expected from West Ham at the start of the season, after Pellegrini brought nine new faces into the club to the tune of around £110 million, but the east London outfit have struggled to live up to their high expectations.

They were superb against the Magpies at the weekend, however.

Noble, though, believes there was still room for improvement.

The West Ham skipper shared with reporters what his side lacked on Saturday, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“We were a bit sloppy with our end product. Three-nil is a great result but it should have been three-nil way before that. It should have been three-nil at half-time but we kept plugging away and we got what we deserved in the end, I think.”

West Ham players will be buzzing for tomorrow’s game with Cardiff now.

If they perform to anywhere near the levels they displayed against Newcastle, they will have every chance of beating Neil Warnock’s side, and in turn, recording their first back-to-back victories since January 2017.
