The West Ham United captain remains a very influential figure at the club.

West Ham skipper Mark Noble sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and shared the first thing that he always tells any new player who signs for the club.
The 31-year-old Hammers ace is a real fan favourite at the London Stadium, and he is well on the way to becoming a club legend, having made 458 appearances in all competitions for the east London outfit.
Noble always plays with 100 per cent commitment and determination – two qualities that have endeared him to the West Ham faithful.
The experienced midfielder is Manuel Pellegrini’s on-field general, and despite the fact that his powers may be waning, he remains a vitally important player for the Hammers.
Noble sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and shared how he tries to hammer home the importance of hard work on the pitch to any new player who signs for West Ham:

“The first thing I say to any new player who signs for West Ham is that ‘it’s OK to do one or two stepovers, but the working-class people of this club and the fans love to see hard work, determination and fight for the badge’.”
West Ham face Newcastle tomorrow, and Noble will be hoping to guide his side to what would be an important three points in the race for seventh place.
