Speaking during a clip released for an upcoming film – Iron Men, Hammers skipper Mark Noble discussed the pride he felt in making his debut for the club, and shared the message his father gave him following his first appearance in the Claret and Blue strip, shown via Signature Entertainment’s official YouTube channel.

The 29-year-old has become a West Ham legend throughout his time with the club, and has racked up an impressive 395 appearances for the East London outfit.

He has come under fire for his below-par performances so far this season, however, after failing to reach the heights of previous years.

But one thing that can never be levelled at Noble is a lack of commitment or passion, and he always gives 100 per cent for the cause, regardless of what kind of form he is in.

And the Hammers midfielder spoke during a film that is due to be released soon about his debut for the club, and how much it meant to him, shown via Signature Entertainment’s official YouTube channel:

“Southend at home, that was my debut. I come out and I was so buzzing to even be out on the pitch. My dad said to me: ‘Mark, no one can ever take that away from you now. You’ve played at Upton Park. You make it the start of something special now. It has been, obviously.”

Noble will now be looking to return to his best, for the remainder of West Ham’s season, and help push them on towards the final Europa League spot.
