West Ham United youngster Declan Rice has enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season at the London Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini has suggested that West Ham may have to listen to offers for Rice in the summer, even though they want to keep him.
The youngster has become regarded as one of the best prospects in the Premier League, after what has been a wonderful breakthrough season in West Ham’s midfield.
And Noble has urged West Ham’s board not to sell the prospect unless they are offered mega-money.
“Dec must be worth £50m to go and buy,” Noble said. “I don’t think they would sell him for less than that. I wouldn’t. It’s an incredible amount of money in the English game now, especially if you are a young English player, 19 or 20. Dec must be worth £50m.”
Rice has showed ability which belies his tender years so far this season, and has even forced his way into the England set-up.
The youngster is already one of the first names on the team sheet at West Ham, with Pellegrini clearly a big fan.
Rice has been linked with moves to some of England’s biggest clubs, but he did sign a new long-term contract, so West Ham are under no pressure to sell.
Rice will next be in action for the Hammers at the weekend when they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
