Mark Noble has said on Soccer AM that his West Ham United teammate Tomas Soucek has become better this season.

The West Ham midfielder has raved about Soucek and has outlined his attributes, saying that he is second to none.

The 33-year-old Englishman has said that the the 26-year-old defensive midfielder has become better as the season has progressed.

Noble said about Soucek on Soccer AM: “He has had a massive impression on the team. I actually think he has got better since he signed as in he knows the Premier League a lot better now, his running stats, his energy and his work rate is second to none, and he scores goals.”

Making an immediate impact

Soucek joined West Ham on loan from Slavia Prague in January 2020 and made the deal permanent in the summer of 2021.

According to WhoScored, the 26-year-old made 12 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Hammers during the second half of last season, scoring three goals in the process.

So far this season, the Czech Republic international defensive midfielder has scored nine goals in 29 Premier League games for the Hammers, according to WhoScored.

West Ham are in the running for the Champions League places in the Premier League table this season, and for David Moyes’s side to be successful in that quest, Soucek will have to be on top of his game in the final weeks of the campaign.
