West Ham United have a group of really exiting players, and Mark Noble singled out two in particular for praise.
West Ham skipper Mark Noble suggested that Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic are right up there with the best players that he has ever played with at the football club, when wiring his regular column for the Evening Standard.
The Hammers have had some wonderfully exciting footballers throughout the years that Noble, 31, has been at the club, and the Canning Town-born midfielder has seen plenty of them come and go.
And there are two West Ham players who Noble really rates in particular – Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic.
The experienced midfielder put the duo right up alongside some stellar names, when wiring his regular column for the Evening Standard:
“I would definitely say we now have the strongest squad since my debut, but I’ve played alongside some really outstanding players. Carlos was a top player, as was Scott Parker. Yossi Benayoun was such a talented player; Craig Bellamy wanted to win so much that perhaps he sometimes said things he later regretted, while Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini are right up there, as is Marko Arnautovic.”
Lanizini has been a superb player for the Hammers since joining on an initial loan deal in the summer of 2015, and he has chalked up 20 goals and 15 assists in 102 appearances for the east London outfit.
Arnautovic, meanwhile, has been West Ham’s talisman for the past 18 months, racking up an impressive 19 goals and 11 assists in 57 outings.
And if West Ham are to have any chance of qualifying for the Europa League this season, they will need the Argentinian and the Austrian to be on their very best form between now and May.
