Mark Noble says that Teddy Sheringham, Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano are the best players he featured alongside at West Ham United, when speaking on the Peter Crouch podcast.
Noble is heading towards the end of his career at West Ham, with the midfielder due to retire at the end of next season.
The Hammers man has spent his entire career with the London side to date, and has played alongside hundreds of players.
But when asked who was the very best of those he has seen come through at West Ham, Noble narrowed it down to three players.
“There were different stages in my career. When I was a young 16 year old we signed Teddy Sheringham,” he said.
“I was doing a few bits in training and Teddy was really complimentary of me.
“In training you’d slap it into him and his lay off and touch was literally on the middle line of your Adidas boot, it was so perfect.
“You’d lay one into him and instead of him setting it back, he’d pop it up so you could hit a volley. His mind was incredible.
“And then we had Carlos, people knew him, but we didn’t know he was the player he would turn out to be.

“Even Mascherano. He came in and had a bit of a tough time, I think he gave the ball away at Everton away and they scored and he couldn’t quite get to the speed of the game.
“He didn’t really play, but in training he was unreal!
“But Carlos was different gear, he was some player.”
Sheringham, Mascherano and Tevez all had glistening careers, so for the trio to be named can hardly be a surprise.
Sheringham was actually coming towards the end of his career when he joined West Ham.
Mascherano and Tevez, on the other hand, were just starting out.
They went out to achieve huge moves after leaving the Hammers, with Mascherano going on to represent Barcelona, and Tevez joining both Manchester United and Manchester City.
