Mark Noble has told the Peter Crouch podcast that Jesse Lingard is definitely David Moyes’ favourite at West Ham United.
Lingard only joined West Ham in January, but he has quickly made a big impact at the London club.
The attacking midfielder has settled in brilliantly at the Hammers, and has scored nine goals in his first 13 games.
Lingard’s form quickly seems to have helped his standing in the West Ham squad.
And when asked who Moyes’ favourite player is, the West Ham captain responded: “Jesse Lingard at the minute. We do boxes and he’s not even allowed in the middle!
“Now the lads are on it and it’s a running joke, they even live in the same apartment block now as well.
“The gaffer loves it. Jesse will be with us and he’ll go ‘Jess, thanks for bringing me that bottle of wine the other night’.

“He’ll just swallow his Adam’s Apple, Jesse. He won’t have a comeback! He loves Jesse.”
Moyes, of course, had a relationship with Lingard before he joined West Ham, as he managed the midfielder at Manchester United.
Moyes’ feelings towards Lingard are similar to most West Ham supporters’ at the moment.
There is widespread hope at the London Stadium that Lingard will extend his stay and join the Hammers permanently now.
Getting a deal done could be difficult though, as Lingard’s value has risen considerably since he joined the club.
West Ham are thought to have funds to spend, but whether they will be able to finance a move for the 28-year-old remains to be seen.
