West Ham United are expected to be very busy during the upcoming transfer window.
West Ham skipper suggested that he expects four to five players to leave the London Stadium this summer, when writing his regular column for the London Evening Standard.
The Hammers have endured a difficult campaign in the Premier League this season, having spent heavily last summer, but they can still secure a top 10 finish with a win away at Watford on Sunday.
And then the really hard work will begin for West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini.
The east London outfit must be looking to bring in some real quality this summer, if they are to challenge for the Europa League places next season.
And Noble predicted that there will be plenty of outgoings too, when writing his regular column for the London Evening Standard:
“There will be some players leaving — perhaps four or five — and others coming in. I think it’s needed, if I’m honest. We need some more hungry young players who want do well for the club. It can be a bit premature to say your goodbyes because frequently players don’t move on until well into pre-season.”
There are three West Ham players out of contract in the summer – Andy Carroll, Adrian and Samir Nasri, and it seems only the latter has a chance of being offered a new deal.
Other names who could potentially be moved on this summer include Marko Arnautovic, Lucas Perez, Pedro Obiang and Javier Hernandez, according to the Sun.
