West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini has shown faith in the young pair so far this season.

Mark Noble has told West Ham United’s official website that both Grady Diangana and Declan Rice are ‘fantastic’.

Manuel Pellegrini has been eager to give both Diangana and Rice chances in West Ham’s first-team this season, and the pair have both impressed.

The youngsters have both been handed new contracts at West Ham recently, which secures their futures at the London Stadium.

And Noble is convinced that the young pair can both become West Ham greats in the future.

“I think it’s right that the club has signed him up because, as I’ve said from day one, you have to keep hold of your best young players,” Noble said. “Both Grady and Declan Rice, who also signed a new contract a few weeks ago, are fantastic.

“They are both 20, so they are not as young as I was, but I know what they are going through and, knowing them both as I do, I am sure they both have what it takes to play in the Premier League.”

Rice has become one of West Ham’s key players so far this season, and is regarded as one of the best prospects in the Premier League.

The defensive midfielder has put in performances which have belied his age this season, with the Republic of Ireland international performing a very disciplined role in front of West Ham’s defence.

Diangana, meanwhile, has been used in rotation and proven his quality.

Although the winger clearly still needs to refine some areas of his game there is obvious signs of talent and Pellegrini will be wanting to ensure that he fulfils his potential in the coming years.
