The West Ham United skipper has struggled for form this season.

Long-serving Hammers ace Mark Noble spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and highlighted how the current strength-in-depth at the London Stadium means that there will be plenty of talking points this season.
West Ham have made an inauspicious start to their 2017/18 Premier League campaign, after Slaven Bilic made a whole host of new signings in the summer, and they currently sit in an underwhelming 15th position in the table.
The 30-year-old has by no means been ever present for the east London outfit this term, with the skipper racking up just five Premier League appearances from eight outings thus far.

And he explained how Bilic’s summer recruitment means that nobody is guaranteed a start for the Hammers, irrelevant of their quality or experience, when speaking exclusively to WHUFC.com:
“I have played regularly for this Club for over a decade now, but we now have a bigger and stronger squad than ever and that means the manager will take decisions to pick certain players for certain matches. Some people might think a player being left out of the starting XI is a big talking point, but it isn’t, for me. It’s just the result of the Club having a big squad full of quality players and only eleven of them can start the game

Next up for West Ham is a visit from Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Friday night.
Noble will be desperate to start the game, and help his side earn a much-needed victory that could kick-start their season.
A win could take Bilic’s side as high as 10th position in the table.
