West Ham United skipper Mark Noble spoke to the club’s official website ahead of their game against Tottenham on Tuesday.

The Irons are in a pretty vulnerable position in the league table after their loss against Wolves on Saturday.

West Ham are placed 17th at the moment, level on points with 18th placed Bournemouth and just a point above Aston Villa who are a place above the bottom of the Premier League table.

Games don’t get easier for David Moyes as he has to get his side ready for back to back London derbies against Tottenham and Chelsea this week.

Skipper Mark Noble spoke about his side’s chances against Jose Mourinho’s men and the Englishman feels that one aspect of the game will help the Hammers more than Tottenham.

He said: “We go to Spurs away and we’ve obviously got a good feeling there from last time and hopefully we can carry that on. As we know, it will be different with no fans, but it will probably benefit us more that we’re playing there with none of their crowd.”

It really is strange to watch the games without fans and playing behind closed door might just be stranger for the players who are so used to the support of their supporters.

Tottenham looked decent without their home fans against Manchester United and there is no reason why that should change ahead of Tuesday’s game.

A win is a must for West Ham

The Hammers desperately need points on the board to avoid getting into the bottom three.

A loss against Spurs will give a chance to both Bournemouth and Aston Villa to leapfrog the Hammers and if that happens, West Ham’s chances of survival will take a massive hit ahead of the final few games of the season.
