Noble is currently contracted to West Ham until the summer of 2020.
Mark Noble has said in his London Evening Standard column that he wants to remain at West Ham United until the summer of 2021, and will then consider retirement.
The 31-year-old is currently contracted to the Hammers until June 2020 on £50,000 a week (Daily Star), but has an option for another year at the London Stadium which would see him remain in claret and blue until he turns 34.
Noble, who has clocked up an impressive 440 appearances in all competitions for the Hammers, remains a crucial part of Manuel Pellegrini’s side and was excellent in the 3-1 win over Manchester United.
He provided an assist for Marko Arnautovic’s goal and he believes that he has more than enough energy in his legs to continue playing until that period for West Ham. He believes after 2021, a place coaching in the academy could be on the cards.
“I’ve played 14 years in top football and I have nothing to prove to anyone, other than myself. I’ve lived my dream and I’ve played almost 400 Premier League games for West Ham,” Noble said.
“My dream now is to finish at West Ham. I have one more year after this and a further year’s option.
“I would like to sign that, finish playing and then perhaps be involved in the academy. My son, Lenny, plays in the under-nines here and I get so much enjoyment out of watching him on a Sunday.”
West Ham began the season in dismal fashion under Pellegrini, losing their first four Premier League matches but havce since picked up seven from a possible nine – as well as an 8-0 win over Macclesfield Town.
Noble is now expected to start for Pellegrini’s men as they travel to Brighton on Friday night, with the chance to move into the top half of the Premier League table at stake if they beat Brighton by more than two goals.
