The Hammers hero has his testimonial this month.
Mark Noble will be staging his testimonial match during the international break and the club veteran has been in fine form this season.
Noble has been a consistently performing member of the West Ham team for some time now and has been with the club for 16 years.
His performances during that time have certainly attracted attention. In particular, he was wanted when West Ham were relegated to the Championship in 2011.
The Daily Mail reported that Fulham had made a £4 million bid for the player whilst the Mirror reported that Stoke City were keen.
But Noble stayed at West Ham and helped them return to the Premier League under the guidance of Sam Allardyce.
Speaking about the chance he had to leave the club Noble told Sky Sports News HQ today (24/03/2016):
“To be honest I remember when we got relegated and I was away on holiday. Obviously I was disappointed and gutted and obviously there was some attention from places.
“But when I had seen the chairmen had brought in Big Sam and the players they had brought in to have a real go at getting back up.
“I always said to myself the grass is never greener I proved me right.”
Noble is probably glad he stayed. He is about to have a testimonial, is leading his side into a European hunt and about to embark on a glorious new path with the club at the Olympic Stadium.
West Ham fans will be hoping he is at the club for a long time yet.
