West Ham United signed Issa Diop in the summer transfer window.

West Ham signed Diop from French club Toulouse this summer for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £22 million.
The 21-year-old central defender has been brilliant for the Hammers so far this season and was superb against Manchester United in the Premier League this past weekend.
Agent McKay – who tipped off West Ham about Dimitri Payet, according to The Daily Mail – has praised the London club’s co-chairman Sullivan for signing Diop.
McKay told The Daily Mail: “Plenty of clubs were talking about Issa, but they were all waiting for each other to make a move.
“It was clear he was a top talent. He’s quick, good in the air, good on the ball and his legs are telescopic. Credit to David Sullivan, he spoke to Mario Husillos and pushed the hardest.
“In a market where clubs are demanding £75m for a centre back, they’ve got themselves a great prospect.”

Pushing
West Ham did not start the season strongly, but the Hammers are in good form at the moment and are gradually moving up the Premier League table.
While the Hammers are unlikely to challenge for the top four, given the quality of players they have and manager Manuel Pellegrini’s pedigree, the London outfit should be aiming for the fifth or the six spot.
