Celtic have snapped up winger Oliver Burke from West Bromwich Albion.

Former Celtic striker Mark McGhee has told the Daily Mail that he thinks the Bhoys need to help sort the ‘uncertainty’ over Oliver Burke’s position.
Celtic brought in their first signing of the January transfer window on Saturday, announcing that they had struck a deal with West Bromwich Albion for winger Burke.
Burke remains the most expensive Scottish player ever, having made a big-money move to RB Leipzig in the summer of 2016.
Just a year later though, he was on the move again, returning to England with West Bromwich Albion, where he has really struggled for playing time.
The 21-year-old wide man hasn’t started a league game this season, notching just 46 minutes of Championship action across a measly three substitute appearances under Darren Moore.
West Brom have now allowed Burke to go out on loan for the rest of the season, and he will be looking to get his career back on track under Brendan Rodgers at Parkhead.

Now, ex-Celtic striker and former Scotland coach McGhee has suggested that Burke arrives with a ‘bit of an issue’, as he feels there is uncertainty over Burke’s best position.
Burke has played as a winger and as a striker, and McGhee wants to see him end that uncertainty during his time with Celtic in the second half of the seaosn.
“Maybe Celtic will be a place where he can understand what he is best at being asked to do,” said McGhee. “I think there has been a bit of an issue in terms of what his best position is – is he a forward, winger or striker? There is a bit of uncertainty there. He has not nailed that yet and maybe he can do that at Celtic,” he added.
