Mark Lawrenson has warned Liverpool fans on Off The Ball about trying to get Fenway Sports Group (FSG) out of the club.
The Liverpool legend legend believes that if Reds owner John W. Henry is provoked by the fans, then he could decide to sell forward Mohamed Salah and defender Virgil van Dijk in the summer transfer window and recoup some of the money he has invested in the club.
Some Liverpool fans are not happy with FSG that they want(ed) the club to be part of the European Super League and want Henry to sell.
Lawrenson said on Off The Ball: “If you really kind of peeve somebody off like John Henry, he might go to Klopp, ‘Alright, fine, if that’s the way it is, I want you to sell Salah tomorrow and when Van Dijk’s fit, I want to sell him and recoup some of my money’. So you have got to be careful and play the game, I think.”
Keeping faith in FSG
An owner of a club does not always get things right. What is important is that they learn from the mistakes and listen to the fans.

Henry has apologised to the Liverpool fans for his involvement in the European Super League, and perhaps the supporters should move on.
Under FSG, Liverpool have won the Premier League and the Champions League, and things will get better.
The Reds could still finish in the Premier League top four, and the fans should be optimistic about the future.
