West Ham United are not a very consistent Premier League team.

Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has given his honest take on West Ham United on BBC Sport.
The former Liverpool defender has admitted that he does not quite know what to make of West Ham.
Lawrenson wrote on BBC Sport: “I am not quite sure what to make of Manuel Pellegrini’s side because sometimes I look at them and think, ‘This lot are a good team’ and then there are games where I watch them and think, ‘Have this lot just met each other in the street?’ That’s the way West Ham are, and part of the reason they are so inconsistent.”
Inconsistent
Lawrenson’s aforementioned comments are not very flattering for West Ham, and they do expose the main problem with Manuel Pellegrini’s team – lack of consistency.
West Ham held Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at the London Stadium in the Premier League on Monday evening, but last week the Hammers went down 3-0 at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

With Crystal Palace fighting for survival in the league, the Hammers will be expected to pick up all three points at Selhurst Park in London on Saturday, but Pellegrini’s side could easily concede three goals and lose.
If West Ham are to challenge for the seventh or the eighth place in the league table this season, then they have to add consistency to their game.
West Ham do have some very good attacking players; what they need is consistency and to turn up for each and every game.
