Marco Silva’s Everton will face Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League this weekend.

Liverpool legend Mark Lawrenson has written on BBC Sport that Everton are progressing well as a team.
The former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland international defender made the comments ahead of Everton’s Premier League match against Brighton and Hove Albion at Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon.
Lawrenson has backed the Toffees to pick up all three points from the encounter courtesy of a 2-0 win and has also praised the progress made by Marco Silva’s side.
“Everton have dropped points at home to Huddersfield and West Ham but I think they are progressing as a team and, as I have said before, Toffees boss Marco Silva can change games from the bench if he has to,” Lawrenson wrote on BBC Sport.
Everton’s progress
Everton may have lost to Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford in the Premier League last weekend, but there is no doubt that the Merseyside outfit are progressing.

The Toffees are playing good football, and they are getting results in their quest to break into the top six.
The Merseyside outfit do need to be more consistent, though, but the Goodison Park faithful should be happy with how things are going at the moment.
Winning against Brighton this weekend will not be easy, but Everton do have enough quality players to get the better of the Seagulls at Goodison Park.
