We’ll see if Arsenal qualify for the Champions League tomorrow night as Mikel Arteta’s side gear up to take on Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs play host to a massive North London derby which could result in the Gunners’ sealing a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Arsenal are four points clear of Tottenham in the Premier League table, meaning that victory would guarantee that Arteta and co will finish at least fourth in the standings.

But BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson isn’t convinced that tomorrow will decide anything, with the Liverpool legend predicting a 1-1 draw.

He said: “I am not really expecting a good match here in the usual sense because it will be played at 100mph but it will be a good one to watch even if the quality is not there.

“Tottenham are the team who have to win, but it is going to be interesting to see how Arsenal approach it. They don’t find it easy to control most games, let alone like this one where there will be loads of bookings and maybe not much football played. I don’t actually think there will be that many goals either, and it is very hard to pick a winner. 1-1.”

What time does the North London derby start?

The Premier League encounter between Tottenham and Arsenal is scheduled to kick off at 7.45 pm UK time.

There’s about 30 hours for Arsenal supporters to wait and see if they qualify for the Champions League again.

Having said that, the Gunners’ fanbase has been waiting since 2016 to see their boys back in this competition, so what’s another day and a bit?

Arteta’s side might be narrow favourites, too.

Yes, Spurs held title-chasing Liverpool to a 1-1 draw at Anfield this past weekend, but Arsenal have won four Premier League games in succession.

What a response the Spaniard has drawn from his troops since losing three on the spin throughout April.

Tottenham boss Antonio Conte is a fan of his opposite number, admitting on Tuesday that he was doing a ‘really good job’ – a job that Arteta will be desperate to finish tomorrow.
