Mark Lawrenson is backing Hull City to beat West Ham United today.

Pundit Mark Lawrenson has told BBC Sport that he thinks Hull City will claim a 1-0 win over West Ham United at the KCOM Stadium this afternoon.
The Tigers enter the game having won just one of their last five games, and they lost 4-0 at Everton in their last game before the international break.
Marco Silva’s men lie three points adrift of safety and need to pick up points, with their home form vital having picked up recent wins over Swansea City, Liverpool and Bournemouth at the KCOM Stadium.
Today, Hull are back at home again after their dismal trip to Goodison Park last time out, as they host a downbeat West Ham side.
The Hammers have picked up just two points in the last five games and have lost each of the last three as the club’s season peters out early.
The poor run of form means that the pressure is once again mounting on manager Slaven Bilic, with some speculation suggesting that he could be replaced this summer.
Bilic needs a result today, but pundit Mark Lawrenson – famed last season for tipping West Ham to lose on a regular basis – has again risked the wrath of Hammers fans by backing Hull to claim a 1-0 win.
Mark Lawrenson
Lawrenson has told BBC Sport that he thinks West Ham are picking up bad habits from the start of the season again, and believes Hull will take full advantage by claiming a vital three points this afternoon.
“West Ham seem to have slipped back into some bad habits from the start of the season,” said Lawrenson. “They are on a five-game winless run, including three straight defeats, and of course when that happens all the stories about the manager’s future start coming out.”
“Hull were well beaten by Everton in their last match but you know what? I think they will edge this one. I am not just saying that, either – their home form under Marco Silva is actually pretty good – they are unbeaten in six games under him in all competitions at the KCOM Stadium, and won five of them.”
“So, it has taken me until the start of April, but I have finally tipped the Tigers to win a game. Now they need to go out and actually pick up the three points as well, because they badly need them in their relegation fight,” he added.
