Pundit praises Tottenham duo ahead of Champions League final.
Mark Lawrenson has told BBC Sport he does not feel that Harry Kane’s fitness will be a reason for Liverpool to cheer or worry this weekend.
The pundit praised the way Tottenham have coped without him ahead of the Champions League final, and is just as worried about Heung Min Son and Lucas Moura.
Son led Spurs to victory over Manchester City, scoring three goals over two legs, while Lucas netted a hat-trick against Ajax.
Lawrenson believes it is their pace which will cause Liverpool reason to worry.
He said: “If he [Kane] is available, surely he will only start on the bench. To be honest, that is not the blow it might have been in the past.
“Playing with Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min through the middle has a good look about it for Tottenham’s attack.
“Those two are both absolutely rapid and, if they play, then they are definitely going to cause Liverpool problems on the counter-attack.”
Lawrenson added that he is tipping Liverpool to win the game 2-1, the same score they won the last meeting by at Anfield.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has a big decision to make over Harry Kane, who has not played since the Champions League quarter final first leg in early April.
It might be better to bring him on from the bench, but it may depend how he has looked in training over the past week.
