Stoke City are on the verge of completing a deal for the Dutch defender.

According to Sky Sports News, Bruno Martins Indi has arrived at Stoke City’s training ground ahead of a proposed move from FC Porto.
Stoke manager Mark Hughes has developed a reputation for bringing quality signings to the Britannia Stadium on a consistent basis, with the likes of Bojan Krkic, Xherdan Shaqiri and Giannelli Imbula all joining the Potters in recent times, and the Dutch centre-back would be another superb addition.

Martins Indi is the kind of defender who could excel in the Premier League, and one that many an English top flight club would love to have in their ranks.
Still only 24, he already has 193 club appearances under his belt while he has been capped 31 times for the Netherlands.

He is yet to reach his peak and Stoke could be getting him at the perfect time, allowing him to blossom under Hughes and ultimately prove to be yet another canny addition.
Stoke go about their transfer business smartly and methodically and while they have not had the best start to the new campaign, Martins Indi’s arrival would give them a huge boost.
