Glasgow Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has brought Jermain Defoe to Ibrox on loan.

Mark Hateley has told BT Sport that new Rangers signing Jermain Defoe can play for three more years.
Rangers have signed former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur striker Defoe on an 18-month loan deal from Premier League club Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
The 36-year-old Englishman is past his time and has been struggling for playing time at Bournemouth this season, but former Rangers striker Hateley believes that he can carry on for two or three more years.
Hateley told BT Sport about Defoe: “Everything the players have these days in terms of sports science is there to promote longevity and I see no reason for Jermain not to carry on for two or three years.”
Longevity
Defoe may be 36 years of age, but the former Sunderland striker remains committed to his profession and is hungry for playing time.
After all, the striker joined Rangers on loan because he was not getting much playing time at Bournemouth.
It may take a while for Defoe to get going in the Scottish Premiership, but once he starts scoring, it could become tough for opposition defenders to stop him.
Rangers are second in the Scottish Premiership table at the moment with 42 points from 21 matches, level on points with leaders and Old Firm rivals Celtic, who have played 20 games.
