Rangers Director of Football Mark Allen has told The Herald that the Ibrox club will make further signings in the summer transfer window.

The Gers have been quite busy this summer and have already made a number of additions to Steven Gerrard’s team for the 2019-20 campaign.

Joe Aribo, George Edmundson, Sheyi Ojo and Greg Stewart all have joined Rangers, while Jake Hastie and Jordan Jones have officially completed their moves to Ibrox after signing pre-contract agreements with the Gers back in January 2018 and Steven Davis has signed a permanent contract with the Scottish Premiership outfit after a loan spell.

Rangers Director of Football Allen has suggested that the club have not yet finished their business in the summer transfer window.

Allen told The Herald: “I think I have always said that we will never say that it is closed until the window is closed. We are satisfied with where we are to date. Let’s just see what else happens.”

Challenging Celtic

Celtic have the best team in Scotland, and it is clear that Rangers are building a team to challenge the Hoops next season.

Rangers finished second in the Scottish Premiership table last season, and they will know that they can give the Glasgow giants a run for their money in 2019-20.
