Steven Gerrard’s side have already made two additions to his Ibrox squad for the 2019-20 campaign.
Rangers have signed 20-year-old Jake Hastie on a four-year contract, and the Gers had also secured the services of 24-year-old winger Jordan Jones on a pre-contract in the January transfer window.
Rangers Director of Football Allen has suggested that the Gers will make two more signings this summer.
Allen told The Times: “We had 14 new arrivals last summer which is always difficult. But we’ve both been very candid; we’ve got the ingredients, the cake has been made and now we’re looking to put the icing on top.
“We’re hoping we’ll be able to add one or two more players which will allow us to mount a real challenge for trophies.”

Disappointment for Rangers fans
Rangers do have a big squad, but there are many players who have simply not been good enough.
Manager Gerrard needs to move some of them on, and will have to make some very good signings in the summer transfer window in order to give Celtic a run for their money next season.
Rangers may have second the runners-up spot in the Scottish Premiership table this season, but Celtic have simply marched to the title yet again – their eighth in a row.
