Tottenham Hotspur have all but secured their top four status in the Premier League this season.

Mario Melchiot has admitted that he doesn’t like Heung-Min Son playing as a striker for Tottenham as he urged Mauricio Pochettino to play him out wide against Ajax on Wednesday night.
The North London club will travel to Holland on Wednesday night looking to overturn a one-goal deficit from the first-leg – a game Son missed because he was suspended.
But he will return for the reverse leg which increases Spurs’ chances of qualifying for the final, but they will be well aware that they’ll need to win the encounter on the night in order for that to happen.
Speaking to the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast Show on TalkSport (06/05/2019 at 8:50 am), former Ajax defender Melchiot spoke about the up and coming fixture.
On Spurs still having a chance to qualify: “Yes, definitely,” Melchiot told TalkSport. “If I was Spurs I would go into the game with a strong belief because you know you are going to playing Champions League football next season.
“I saw them play Son as the ultimate striker with his back to goal. I don’t like him like that. I like Son when he comes from the outside and then comes into the action.
“I feel like Son coming in late, maybe playing someone else, but they need a striker that’s mobile, fast and can cause trouble. Not a striker that’s just static.”

Ajax have a one-goal lead from the first-leg at Tottenham’s new stadium and they will be well aware that a draw would be enough for them to go through.
But given Spurs’ recent performances in Europe, nothing should be ruled out because they have proven that they can showcase their talent when their backs are against the wall.
The prime example was the performance at the Etihad Stadium against Manchester City or their display in Germany against Dortmund.
