Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly still tracking Mario Gotze, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to make his first addition of the summer.

Tottenham have prolonged negotiations with Villa, and that plan seems to have backfired.

That means that Grealish is now valued at £22 million more than Gotze, and that surely makes the latter a tempting offer for Tottenham.
Granted, Grealish looks to have a great deal of potential, but Gotze is already a household name.
The German international scored the winner in the 2014 World Cup final, and is regarded as one of his country’s top talents when he is fit.

The risk with any deal for Gotze for Spurs would be keeping him off the treatment table.
But, at half the price of Grealish, he now looks to be a gamble worth taking for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, as few players of his quality are available for such a cheap fee in the current market.
