Mario Balotelli has raved about Arsenal target and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.

The former Liverpool striker has said on Osimhen’s Instagram Live that he has achieved an incredible feat with Napoli.

The Nigeria international striker, who has been linked with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, has just won Serie A with Napoli.

The Naples outfit secured the Scudetto with a 1-1 draw with Udinese away from home on Thursday evening.

Osimhen has scored 22 goals in Serie A this season.

And Balotelli has been wowed by the Nigerian.

Ciro Venerato claimed in March 2023 that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta really likes the 24-year-old.

According to TMW, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Bayern Munich are interested in signing the Napoli striker in the summer transfer window.

90min have reported that Chelsea are determined to bring the striker to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023.

Mario Balotelli praise for Arsenal target Victor Osimhen

Balotelli wrote, as translated by The Chelsea Chronicle: “Trust me, you did something incredible my friend. You still don’t know what you did.

“You will realise. Not tomorrow, but in 10 years. You will realise. It’s unbelievable what you did.”

HITV Verdict: Summer transfer tricky

In our view, Napoli may not be willing to sell Victor Osimhen in the summer transfer window.

Yes, Arsenal are a massive club and could offer a huge transfer fee and big wages, but Napoli will surely want to make sure that they remain competitive in the coming years and will not want to sell any of their best players.

Of course, every player has his price, but Osimhen himself may not be too keen on leaving Napoli right after winning the Scudetto.
