Rangers already have one star Croatian left back, but they are being linked with a move to sign another in 2021.
The Gers have seen Borna Barisic become a star at Ibrox despite a tricky first season following his 2018 move from Osijek.
His attacking play is outstanding as he has great quality when crossing, and he has also grown in stature as a defender – but his performances mean Barisic is attracting interest.
Rangers do have a young talent at left back in Calvin Bassey, but if Barisic moves on in 2021, they may need to go into the transfer market for another option.
One name recently linked is Marijan Cabraja from Gorica, with the Daily Record carrying quotes from him last week in which he claimed Rangers had made contact about a deal.
Cabraja, 23, is another Croatian left back starring in his home country, and Rangers have been given something of a boost in their hopes of signing him in the future.

The Scottish Sun have quoted Gorica sporting director Mindaugas Nikolicius as saying that Cabraja has rejected a move to the United States with Austin FC.
Austin sporting director Claudio Reyna used to play for Rangers, but has failed to win the race for Cabraja – which means a move to Ibrox is still possible.
