Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want Real Madrid’s Mariano Diaz.

According to AS, Tottenham Hotspur are hoping to sign Lyon striker Mariano Diaz this summer – and that move would see him reunite with Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs splashed the cash to sign Ndombele from Lyon in a club-record move last week, giving Mauricio Pochettino an absolute superstar in the heart of his midfield.
Pochettino may want other signings before the end of the summer transfer window, and another striker is likely to be on his radar after allowing Fernando Llorente to leave the club.
Mariano is believed to be one target, after managing just four goals in 19 games since returning to Real from Lyon last summer, with his future again seeming to lie away from the Spanish capital.
The 25-year-old may not set pulses racing, but he has history with Ndombele; history that may just leave some Spurs fans excited about them reuniting.
Ndombele would often drive through the middle of the park for Lyon, and in the 2017-18 season, he would regularly pick out threaded balls to Mariano running in behind defences.

Mariano smashed 21 goals in his one season alongside Ndombele, and their existing understanding could make him an absolutely perfect striker to bring in.
Whether he would be keen on another second-choice role behind Harry Kane having served a similar role with Real is another matter, but if Tottenham can reunite Ndombele and Mariano, they could be a hugely exciting duo.
