Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder could be on the look out for new additions this month, and the Peterborough United winger may be interested in a move.

Peterborough United winger Marcus Maddison has said that he has ‘always liked’ Sheffield United, when asked whether a move to Bramall Lane would appeal.

Maddison has been linked with a move away from Posh in each of the last three transfer windows, but no switch has materialised despite Championship interest.

Sheffield United have been one of the sides to be linked with the winger in the past.

And when asked whether a move to the Blades would appeal on Instagram, Maddison seemed to suggest that it would.

Maddison has just over a year left on his contract at Peterborough, and could be available this month.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony has already suggested that he would let Maddison leave if a Championship club came in for him, but whether Sheffield United will make a bid remains to be seen.

Maddison has provided 16 assists so far this season and could enhance Chris Wilder’s attacking options if he was to make a move to Yorkshire.
