Browne has impressed on loan from West Ham at Oxford United.

Marcus Browne has posted on Instagram after the West Ham United loan star returned from a hamstring injury to score a crucial goal for Oxford United against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.
Browne, 21, had missed the last two League One fixtures because of the injury, which he suffered in a Checkatrade Trophy clash against League Two Bury last month.
The attacker came off the bench for the final 20 minutes and found the back of the net in the 87th minute, after good work from Jerome Sinclair – who joined Oxford on loan from Watford, after a failed Sunderland spell.
The Hammers star posted on Instagram after scoring a late equaliser for Karl Robinson’s side, which leaves Oxford in 20th place and just one point above the relegation zone.
Browne has been a shining light in Oxford’s season this campaign, scoring eight goals and creating another five for Robinson’s men as they continue to fight against the drop.
It leaves the West Ham academy product in good stead, given that his contract at the London Stadium expires at the end of the 2019-20 campaign. If he is to earn a new contract, he needed an impressive loan spell at the Kassam Stadium.
He has certainly done that this season, and Oxford will be counting on him to keep up his form as they look to avoid relegation.
