The Leeds United striker scored his first goal at Elland Road last night.
Swedish striker Marcus Antonsson has been commenting on his goal against Norwich City in the EFL Cup last night, and on who he would like to face in the quarter-finals of the competition.
Leeds defeated the Canaries on penalties after a 2-2 draw after extra time at Elland Road.
The Swedish striker pulled his side back into the game in the 43rd minute – equalising after Alex Pritchard had given Norwich an early lead.

It was his third goal for Leeds since joining from Kalmar in the summer but was his first in front of home fans at Elland Road. It was clearly a moment he has been looking forward to for a while. “It was a fantastic feeling to score my first goal before 23,000 at Elland Road, it was a magical atmosphere.”
Leeds United players celebrate winning the penalty shoot out
Leeds went on to win on penalties, after Chris Wood equalised again in extra time after Nelson Oliveira scored for Norwich.
Marco Silvestri was the hero in the penalty shoot-out and now Leeds are in the final eight. Talking about the result and the next round the Swede made it clear he wants to face a big Premier League side in the quarter finals:
“We must still beat everyone to win. So give us a Premier League giant at home at Elland Road.”
The likes of Arsenal and Liverpool are still in the completion whilst Chelsea and the one of Manchester City or Manchester United will also be hoping to join them.
One of those teams would do nicely for Antonsson and Leeds.
