Leeds United striker Marcus Antonsson has revealed to BBC Radio Leeds his two favourite moments at the club so far this season.

Antonsson joined Championship outfit Leeds from Swedish side Kalmar FF in the summer transfer window.

According to The Yorkshire Post, the West Yorkshire side had to pay Kalmar a transfer fee of £1.6 million in order to secure the services of the 25-year-old striker.

Antonsson has played well for Leeds so far this season and has outlined his two most memorable moments.

“It’s a difficult question because I have two really good moments,” the striker told BBC Radio Leeds when asked for his best moment at Leeds so far this season.

“One against Fleetwood when I scored the equaliser in the 90th minute there, and then of course when I scored the first goal against Sheffield Wednesday there, important game there. It’s hard to pick one.”

Antonsson scored for Leeds against Fleetwood Town away from home in the first round of the EFL Cup last month.

The Swedish striker found the net for Garry Monk’s side in the 89th minute of the encounter at the Highbury Stadium, the goal taking the match into extra time.

It finished 2-2 after 120 minutes, and the Whites won the penalty shootout 5-4.

Antonsson, who is 25 years of age, scored the opening goal in Leeds’s 2-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday away from home at the Hillsborough Stadium in the Championship last month.

The striker has scored one goal and created four chances in five Championship appearances for Leeds so far this season.
