Marcus Antonsson is enjoying his time on loan from Leeds United.

It hasn’t been a great last week for Leeds United, but one of their loanees is loving life away from Elland Road.
Leeds suffered a demoralising 3-0 defeat at Yorkshire rivals Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday, after losing 3-1 at Cardiff City in midweek.
Thomas Christiansen’s side are having a tough time of it but Marcus Antonsson, loaned to Blackburn Rovers in August, seems to be enjoying his time in League One.

The Swedish striker, deemed surplus to requirements by Christiansen, played 87 minutes as Rovers beat Gillingham 1-0 at Ewood Park on Saturday.
In doing so, Blackburn moved into the playoff spots as a result of picking up their fifth win in seven outings, and Antonsson – who has three goals in six starts – seems delighted with his time in Lancashire if his tweet is anything to go by.

And Leeds fans were delighted with him – and some expressed an interest in seeing him return to West Yorkshire when his loan expires.
The former Kalmar hitman managed less than 10 minutes of Championship football during the second half of last season under Garry Monk but it seems unlikely that he will return in the long-term as long as Christiansen is in charge.
The 44-year-old head coach has Pierre-Michel Lasogga – who is on loan – Kemar Roofe, Jay-Roy Grot and Caleb Ekuban as striking options.
