Marco Silvestri has taken to social networking site Twitter to send an emotional message to the Leeds United fans.
Silvestri recently left Championship club Leeds for Italian outfit Hellas Verona in the summer transfer window.
The 26-year-old goalkeeper had been on the books of the West Yorkshire outfit since 2014, but the Italian lost his place in the starting lineup last season.

The former Italy Under-21 international failed to make a single appearance in the Championship for Leeds last season.
Silvestri, though, did make four appearances in the League Cup and two in the FA Cup for the Whites during the 2016-17 campaign.
Leeds narrowly failed to finish in the top six of the Championship last season despite being in the race for the playoffs until the final weeks of the campaign.
With the signing of Felix Wiedwald from Werder Bremen in the summer transfer window, Silvestri was set to be the third-choice goalkeeper at Elland Road in 2017-18.
