Former Leeds United goalkeeper Marco Silvestri was a penalty hero once again.

Robert Green was not the only goalkeeper to leave Leeds United in the summer.
Former number one Marco Silvestri was allowed to leave the club, and he returned to Italy with Hellas Verona.
Up until this week it had been a very frustrating campaign for the goalkeeper.
Silvestri had spent the entire season sitting on the bench, before finally being handed his debut this week in the Coppa Italia.
Silvestri certainly made a big impact on his first appearance for his new club, instantly becoming a hero.
Lining up against opponents Chievo, Silvestri helped his side claim a draw and take the game to extra time, with Hellas1903 praising a ‘miracle save’ he made during the contest which ended 1-1.
And just as he did for Leeds last season against Norwich City, Silvestri became the penalty shootout hero.

Silvestri helped Verona win the shootout 6-5, and become an instant fan favourite.
Up next in the cup is a tricky contest with AC Milan, which Silvestri will hope he is selected for.
Perhaps Leeds could do with him right now considering their own goalkeeping woes?
