Everton take on Cardiff City in the Premier League tonight.

Everton travel to take on Cardiff City in the Premier League this evening, and Marco Silva faces some problems at the back.
The Toffees haven’t played for more than two weeks now, giving beleaguered boss Silva a real chance to sort out Everton’s problems.
With eight defeats in 11 and just three wins in the last 14, Silva is under huge pressure to turn things around at Goodison Park, starting with the trip to South Wales tonight.
However, Everton head into the game with real defensive problems, with Silva requiring drastic measures to sort out the centre of his back line.
Yerry Mina is a doubt for the game through injury whilst Kurt Zouma is suspended, meaning Michael Keane will start presumably alongside veteran Phil Jagielka.
Jagielka, 36, has become a forgotten man at Everton this season, playing just twice under Silva whilst having absolutely no appearances in 2019.

The experienced defender was sent off on the first day of the season against Wolves and has played just 45 minutes since, becoming fourth-choice centre back.
Now though, he looks destined to start at Cardiff tonight because Everton don’t have anybody else, and that has to be a major concern for Silva, with Jagielka – at his age – no doubt rusty ahead of tonight’s game.
