Everton midfielder Jean Phillipe Gbamin is set to miss up to eight weeks with injury.

Gbamin damaged his thigh in Everton training and when he initially picked up the problem there was a hope that he’d be back quickly.
However, scans revealed that the injury was serious, with the midfielder set to miss at least six weeks.
And Silva has admitted that the long-term nature of the problem has come as a shock to Everton.
“For the moment we can talk to you about between six to eight weeks, it’s the type of situation we have to see day by day,” Silva said.
“But, in this moment, that’s the target we have for him.
“I said after the Aston Villa match it’s something we didn’t expect after we saw a muscle injury.
“But the scan gave this feedback for us and now it’s a matter for us to try and get the player ready again as fast as we can.”

Gbamin’s injury is a huge blow to Everton, as they already look short in central midfield.
Fabian Delph is only just set to return from injury, and may not be fully fit to play 90 minutes for a while yet.
It means that Morgan Schneiderlin and Andre Gomes could be set to continue in Everton’s midfield, despite a poor showing from the pair in a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa most recently.
Everton are set to take on Lincoln City later this evening in the Carabao Cup match in their next outing.
