Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has missed their last two Premier League matches with injury.

Marco Silva has told Everton’s official Youtube channel that Idrissa Gueye will be back for tomorrow’s match against Manchester City.

Gueye has missed Everton’s last two Premier League games, after picking up a knock, and his absence has been felt.

Everton were exposed defensively in their last match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, which they won 3-1.

But Silva’s leading defensive midfielder should be back involved again for Everton against City tomorrow.

“Just Gana will be okay for the match,” Silva said. “All the others are not in condition to be in the squad for tomorrow’s game [Mina and Jagielka].”

With Everton struggling for form, they go into tomorrow’s game against City as heavy outsiders.

Pep Guardiola’s side are chasing down Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table, and demolished Arsenal in their last outing.

Everton will need to improve significantly at the back if they are to have any chance of stopping City from winning.

And Silva will be hoping that Gueye’s inclusion can help his side on the night, as another defeat would ramp up the pressure on the Everton boss even further.
