Everton midfielder Bernard is not fit enough to play against Huddersfield Town this weekend.

Bernard was only brought to Everton in the summer, but he has endured a slow start at Goodison Park.
The Brazilian had generally been held back, and only played for five minutes against Bournemouth.
Silva says that Bernard has picked up a muscle injury though, and that could be as a result of him missing pre-season.
“No, no. For tomorrow game he is not [fit],” Silva said, when asked if Bernard was available.
“He has a small problem. The break will be good for him. He came off with his muscle. He didn’t do the whole of pre-season, Bernard is in that situation and sometimes it’s not easy to follow the intensity of the training sessions and the games.”

Bernard will have two weeks to recover from his current knock, as the international break starts after Everton take on Huddersfield.
The Toffees go into their match against Huddersfield as favourites, even without Bernard available.
Silva’s side are still unbeaten this season, and are challenging in the upper echelons of the table.
Huddersfield, meanwhile, have founds things difficult – with the Terriers sat near the bottom of the Premier League table.
