Marco Silva on the word never said in Everton’s dressing room

Everton are set to take on Liverpool in their next match at the weekend.

Marco Silva has told the Daily Mirror that ‘fear’ is never a word which is used in the Everton dressing room.

Everton take on Liverpool in the Merseyside derby next weekend, in what looks as if it could be a fiercely contested match.

Everton’s record at Anfield has been awful in recent times, and Silva’s side are the underdogs again this weekend.

But Silva insists that Everton are not travelling to their local rivals in trepidation.

He said: “What I can tell you is fear is not one word in our dressing room.”

Everton take on Liverpool in good form, and they have already shown that they can compete with the Champions League challengers this season.

Everton picked up a 0-0 draw with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge recently, and have shown signs that they could trouble Liverpool.

Silva’s side won 1-0 in their most recent match, as they beat Cardiff City and moved into seventh place in the Premier League standings.
