Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is in the shadows at Goodison Park.

Everton boss Marco Silva has told the Liverpool Echo that he hasn’t spoken to Morgan Schneiderlin about leaving the club in January, as he will remain in his plans.
The Toffees are in action against Watford at Goodison Park tonight, and will be hoping to get back to winning ways after claiming just one point against Liverpool and Newcastle United.
Silva is unlikely to make huge changes to his side, with Andre Gomes and Idrissa Gueye no doubt set to feature in midfield again, meaning Schneiderlin is unlikely to feature.
The Frenchman did start the season as an important player under Silva, and even after picking up an injury, he came back into the team despite fan criticism.
However, the emergence of Gomes has left Schneiderlin out in the cold, and with no appearance since since the 6th of October, the 29-year-old’s future is up in the air.

Signed by Ronald Koeman in January 2017 having worked together at Southampton, Schneiderlin started well at Everton but was largely woeful last season, and now finds himself down the pecking order this term.
With many expecting a January exit, Silva has now suggested that Schneiderlin won’t be leaving in January as he is still in Everton’s plans, and there has been no conversation with the midfielder about a transfer next month.
“Until now he’s still in our plans of course,” said Silva. “We haven’t talked about that situation with him, I haven’t talked to anyone about his situation as well. He’s staying in our plans,” he added.
